The Division of Nuclear Physics (DNP) has a membership of ~150 nuclear physicists across Canada, and provides a voice for the Canadian nuclear physics community to bodies such as NSERC. The DNP's other activities include an annual meeting and programs at the CAP Congress in June, and a new Ph.D. Thesis Prize. The DNP Executive consists of a Chair and a Vice-Chair, who are elected for a 2-year term, as well as a Past-Chair and a Secretary. The Vice-Chair automatically succeeds the Chair to preserve continuity.
The DNP also has a close association with the Canadian Institute of Nuclear Physics, which represents the interests of the Canadian Nuclear Physics research community to agencies such as NSERC. For more information on the CINP, please visit www.cinp.ca.
